Confidentiality and record keeping

All sessions are confidential, following the normal practice of confidentiality in psychotherapy.  Please discuss any aspects of confidentiality which concern you.

I keep basic records of our work together to assist me in my work, and these are securely stored, and they are securely destroyed when our work is completed.

I subscribe to the code of ethics and practice, and the complaints policy  of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy, of which I am a registered member.

Contact

My contact with you outside of sessions will be brief, and is normally limited to arranging session times and administration. Please email or text me if you need to discuss session times or important issues that will affect our work.

Fees

All sessions are paid in advance

I require 36 hours notice if you cancel a session you have booked, otherwise the full fee is due. If you cancel on the day of the session, or do not attend, the full fee is due.

Breaks and termination

If you wish to take a break from our ongoing work, please discuss this with me so that we can build this in to the work

When you wish to end our work together, please discuss this with me so that we can work together towards a planned ending
